The Ventura Settling Ponds are one of the best locations in Ventura County to watch birds. These hidden wetlands host a wide variety of birds as well as other wildlife. This walk will take us around each of the ponds looking for herons, ducks, gulls, flycatchers, warblers, and whatever else we can find! Frank has visited this location hundreds of times and knows where all the birds like to hide out. The trail is an easy mile and should take approx. 90 minutes.
