ORC Education Program Manager, Jaclyn DeSantis, will begin with a 30-minute educational presentation exploring raptor biology and adaptations, featuring authentic scientific biofacts. Afterward, you and your guests will take part in a private release of a rehabilitated raptor, sending a hawk or owl back into the wild.

What’s Included:
- 30-minute raptor education presentation led by Jaclyn DeSantis
- Private release of a rehabilitated Red-tailed hawk or Great Horned owl (species determined by season, habitat, and time of day. )
- Option to host the experience at your residence (contingent on appropriate open-space habitat) or at another suitable release location
- Coordination and guidance from our team to ensure animal welfare and guest safety
Timing:
- Releases take place from late summer through early fall; this experience will be scheduled in 2026 based on patient readiness and environmental conditions.
Important Details:
- Species selection and release date depend on rehabilitation timelines, weather, and habitat suitability; animal welfare is our top priority.
- No live ambassador birds are part of this experience.
